HPRT Unveils Smart Digital Textile Printing Base in North China
2025-06-25 14:42
Recently in Zhucheng, Shandong, over 100 industry leaders gathered for a landmark event. Hosted by HPRT, the “New Journey of Printing and Dyeing · Smart Vision of the Future” Digital Textile Printing Salon was successfully held at the Blue Horizon Hotel.
The event welcomed printing factory representatives, industry experts, and partners from Shandong and surrounding regions to explore cutting-edge trends and practical applications in digital textile printing. More than just a technical exchange, the salon showcased HPRT's deep industry commitment and growing leadership in driving intelligent transformation.
The enthusiastic participation of over 100 professionals underscored the market's strong demand for efficient, precise, and eco-friendly digital textile printers—and reflected widespread recognition of HPRT's technical capabilities. Centered around the dual themes of "Precision" and "Innovation", the salon facilitated in-depth discussion, idea exchange, and collective envisioning of the future of intelligent textile manufacturing.
The Technological Foundation: 20 Years of Inkjet Expertise
In his keynote speech, Mr. Jiang Hao, General Manager of HPRT's IoT Division and Director of Digital Textile Printing Sales, outlined the company's robust technology foundation with compelling data:
“With over 20 years of experience in inkjet technology, 758 authorized patents, 131 software copyrights, and 22 printer mechanism assembly lines, HPRT has built a diversified business landscape covering consumer electronics, smart commercial systems, intelligent retail, IoT, HPRT Industrial (including digital textile printers), and HPRT OA.”
These achievements form the solid foundation upon which HPRT empowers global textile enterprises in their digital transformation journey.
Addressing growing environmental concerns and rising consumer expectations, Mr. Zhou Zhaokun, Director of R&D for Digital Textile Printing at HPRT, emphasized that:
“Digital technology is fundamentally reshaping the textile printing value chain.”
HPRT has responded by developing a next-generation digital textile printing model covering garments, home textiles, and high-end fabrics. It is built on core technologies including multi-printhead integration and drive systems, an independently developed color management system, strong in-house software capabilities, and high-reliability mechanical engineering. Above all, it achieves seamless integration between traditional printing processes and digital technology.
Zhou further emphasized that HPRT's key competitive advantage lies in its deep localized innovation—co-developing print controllers, inks, high-speed machines, and process workflows in alignment with customer needs, resulting in breakthroughs in compatibility and production efficiency.
Solving Pain Points, Delivering Value
Technical success depends on process excellence. HPRT's Digital Textile Process Engineer, Mr. Qiang Jian, delivered a detailed technical analysis comparing reactive and pigment digital printing, particularly wet-on-wet versus dry-on-dry characteristics.
He introduced HPRT's innovative “flat screen pre-alignment + digital localized overlay” hybrid solution, which cleverly combines the high penetration of traditional flat screen printing with the fine detailing capabilities of digital technology. This technique opens up new pathways for complex processes such as batik simulation and foil printing.
In color management, HPRT leverages proprietary RIP software and ICC profile integration to construct a precise color database, enabling rigorous control of color deviation from design to final output.
Client Success: Lisa Textile as a Benchmark Case
Mr. Xia Zhongfa, General Manager of Shandong Lisa Textile Technology Co., shared how partnering with HPRT has transformed their operations:
“Since adopting HPRT's flat screen + digital hybrid printing system, along with belt direct-to-fabric and pigment direct-to-fabric solutions, our production capacity has increased by over 40%, delivery lead times have shortened by 30%, and our ability to handle small-batch and rush orders has vastly improved.”
He particularly praised the “flat screen + reactive wet-on-wet process” for overcoming the challenge of achieving deep color penetration on heavyweight fabrics—calling it the company's “ticket to enter the high-end textile market.”
In addition to performance gains, operational costs have significantly declined. Lisa reported:
● Energy and material consumption dropped sharply
● Labor costs reduced by nearly 30%
● ROI on equipment investment exceeded expectations
Guest speaker Mr. Jia Jun, General Manager of Shanghai Qingmu Textile, shared insights into nine common production challenges in digital textile printing—such as color instability, ink spatter, and registration errors—along with practical countermeasures and optimization strategies.
Mr. Li Qingzhong, General Manager of Shaoxing Huoluo Intelligent, praised the joint innovation with HPRT:
“‘Flat screen + digital printing' is nothing short of a systematic process revolution.”
By pre-setting base tones with flat screen for excellent colorfastness, and digitally overlaying 0.1mm-precision gradients, the collaboration achieved both high durability (≥ Grade 4) and visually rich digital effects. Applications such as simulated batik and digital tie-dye saw dramatic reductions in production cycle and energy use. Li affirmed this as evidence of HPRT building a “moat of intelligent manufacturing” through high-tech density and strategic ecosystem partnerships.
New Base Inauguration: Strategic Synergy for a Smarter Future
The highlight of the event was the official unveiling of the HPRT Northern China Digital Textile Printing Base, along with strategic cooperation agreements signed with partners including Zibo Jinhao Printing & Dyeing.
This milestone represents more than a regional expansion—it's a concrete step in HPRT's strategy to co-build a robust technology ecosystem and foster industry-wide progress. HPRT firmly believes that upgrading the printing and dyeing industry is not a matter of choice—but of survival.
We will continue to leverage our strong technological heritage, cutting-edge solutions, and open collaboration model to accelerate the shift toward high-efficiency, low-emission, and high-value-added production—empowering the textile industry to evolve with confidence and speed.
